TC Index Estimator · Beta

Paste a product link.
Get an estimated TC Index.

Paste a public retailer or brand product URL. The estimator reads the product information the page makes public and returns an automated TC Index with Technical Function, Everyday Wearability and Design Integration components. Detailed menswear and unisex product pages usually produce the highest-confidence result. If a marketplace blocks automated inspection, you can paste the public listing text instead.

Works best with public menswear and unisex product pages that expose material, construction and feature details. No login is attempted and the tool does not bypass retailer access controls.

Estimated, not official. This tool is an automated classification aid. It is deliberately labelled Estimated TC Index. Official editorial TC Index scores on TechnoCasual use manually checked specifications and editorial judgement.

Menswear / unisex examples that fit the style

These examples are curated around the Seagale sweet spot: refined, understated, technical enough to assess properly, and described in enough detail to estimate whether they land in Core TechnoCasual. Retailers can change their access rules at any time, so a page may occasionally fall back to pasted details.

Tip: pages with clear material composition, fit notes and performance features usually produce the highest-confidence estimate—and make it easier to judge whether an item truly belongs in the Core TechnoCasual sweet spot.

What the tool is looking for

The same TC Index structure, applied automatically to whatever useful product evidence the public page exposes.

T — Technical Function

Weather protection, breathability, stretch, quick drying, crease resistance, secure storage and technical construction.

C — Everyday Wearability

How naturally the garment fits ordinary work, travel, restaurant, commute and weekend settings.

I — Design Integration

Whether the function is quietly integrated or visually dominates through overt tactical, outdoor or techwear detailing.

Confidence matters

High confidence

The product page exposes structured product data plus several useful material or construction details.

Medium confidence

The garment and some performance features are clear, but specifications are incomplete.

Low confidence

The page gives little more than a title, image or basic description. The score is then necessarily approximate.

Blocked pages

If a marketplace or retailer blocks automated access, the estimator says so. It does not invent a score or attempt to bypass the block.

Shareable format: estimated results use the same compact notation as the Index—for example Estimated TC 82 (T84 / C88 / I92)—but remain visibly marked as automated estimates.

The URL you submit is processed transiently by the TechnoCasual estimator service so it can read publicly available product information. See the Privacy notice.
